"Christmas Bells" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Friday evening our family received a wonderful gift from dear friends, Daniel and Regina Lynn—a first-edition printing of a book that contained the poem "Christmas Bells" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Two weeks ago I preached at our church on the "disruption" of the Christmas story in Matthew 1-2 and used the video below at the end of the message. Daniel and Regina's gift grew out of the shared experience of that sermon. Here is a picture of the book and the page on which the poem was first published:
